PHOTOS: A resident coming out of NPGS was shocked to find a Swastika painted on his vehicle, LCSW tells TLS. At approximately 10:00 PM Sunday evening, a resident called LCSW after he came out of the Jackson supermarket to find a large orange Swastika painted on the left side of his van which was parked in the store’s parking lot.
After notfying Jackson PD, LCSW members searched the area for any possible clues and to see if any other vehicles were hit.
LCSW is also looking at surveillance cameras in the area.
A police report was filed with Jackson police. TLS-00/TLS-07/TLS-CCP.

There is a time and a place for LCSW and they do a fantastic job, but when a crime is committed, the police should be called right away. We need to change our mentality about calling the authorities.

Guaranteed to stop crime and graffiti, as long as the LPD follow up and care about it.
Why on earth are people calling LCSW before the police?!! This mentality had better stop-and quick! They do a great job but they aren’t meant to replace the police.

There are trouble makers in that area. This is not the first time people have made trouble in NPGS of Jackson’s parking lot.
this is galus. Who says we have the right to feel completly comfertable?
We need to remember it’s the 9 days, even if it disturbs our lifestyle.

By canvassing the area for evidence in non-violent situations LCSW saves PD time and resources for more serious crimes.

need more cops on the street to deter crime, maybe lakewood will wake up one day and realize this

When a crime like this is committed or any crime, everyone has a right to pursue and investigate (within certain boundaries) until one is satisfied with the outcome. LCSW has the right to investigate such crimes and pursue all possible leads to catch these criminals and LCSW will continue to do so. Are you really going to tell me that if you had a Swastika painted on your front door (and all the police did was take a report,) that you wont ask neighbors to review their cameras?!?! Lets get real!!!
I was at NPGS when this happened. Jackson sent two officers and took this very seriously. There seem to be teenagers with too much free time hanging around the parking lot regularly. They ride their skateboards and bikes like maniacs with no regard for the safety of others; smoke; spit; and, use foul language. The parking lot is a public place, but loitering and annoying people shouldn’t be tolerated. Perhaps the LCSW can add the area to its patrol list and swing by periodically. This may deter future incidents.
