Authorities are searching for a man suspecting of stabbing another in Lakewood today, TLS has learned.

Police responded to calls shortly after 2:00 PM for the reports of a person stabbed, and upon arrival located a victim with a laceration to the hand, officials told TLS.

The suspect – described an emotionally-deranged person – fled the scene, and reportedly eluded police on the Garden State Parkway.

The victim was not seriously injured in the incident.

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau is investigating.
