Four thieves broke into a Jackson home early this morning while the homeowners slept and made off with two luxury vehicles. It appears to be the same group who broke into a Toms River home over the weekend.
Surveillance video from inside and outside the home shows the group entering the home in search of the keys to the vehicles, and other valuables. They allegedly forced entry with a crowbar.
Moments later, the thieves take off with the vehicles – a BMW and a Rangerover.
The homeowner became aware of the burglary and theft when police knocked on his door after spotting these vehicles speeding on Rt. 9 in Freehold, tracking the plates to his home.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
I dont get it. If you own 200k in vehicles buy an apple air tag for 30 dollars. It can be tracked and once they see they are getting caught they will stop the stealing. Very simple.
For the record
My car was stolen – had air tag , air pods , and onstar . Thieves disabled everything, or destroyed them
Stop victim blaming please , and thinking small minded.
If you hide an Apple AirTag it won’t be disabled quick enough
if the thief has a iphone they will be bale to discover the apple air tag very easilly
Not if you remove the speaker inside the AirPod. No way to find it after that.
Thank you so much.
Hashem should “bentsch” your family together with the rest of Klal Yisroel.
So they were speeding and the cop let them go ? 🤔
No. Got the plate and figured it was stolen. Police agencies won’t chase stolen cars. I tried to chase them and got disciplined as a cop.
Another reminder to examine one’s free will.
It’s a pity that buying a guard dog entails being thrown out of yeshiva, but hey, at least we have our priorities straight.
I have the vague feeling that you have an axe to grind?
A number of years ago, I saw a nice Pshat in the Chumash, when our holy Yaakov our father, when he sent his children to Mitzraim, he asked them not to bring along luxury items.
Correct me please if I am making a mistake.
I don’t get it…police tracked the vehicles speeding on Route 9 in Freehold and knocked on the owner’s door? Why the heck weren’t the speeding vehicles pulled over?
Their too busy ticketing old bubbies. Sorry but its the truth. A whole lot easier.
Sometimes, or as often as necessary, old bubbies need to be ticketed. Even retested.
Too fast and they wouldn’t chase based off of speed alone. They went to the house to follow up and discovered them stolen. Happens a lot.
guns will get the right message across to these and the next group of thieves
They are dumb and would try another house.
I have a $107,000 car and both my wife and I keep a Glock by our beds in a VAULTEK slider safe. Whenever we hear the slightest noise that sounds off we pull out are firearms . The handguns are just the teaser we have a winchester pump action shotgun ready to shoot any being that doesn’t belong . You want a luxury car thats the responsible thing to do. Start normalizing guns in the community.
Imagine a scenario that a Bachur finished learning in the Bais Medrash at 12 midnight and now he is walking home alone.
Suddenly, a few bandits tried to rob him thinking that he has money, not realizing that he was learning late in the Shul and has nothing to do with any $ transactions at 12 midnight . The Bachur starts running to the first house and he will knock or ring the bell to ask you to call the Police.
The main issue here seems to be the amount of Cholov Stam being eaten in the communities. This wasn’t the case years ago when more people were Makpid and this is the lesson we are being taught.
Hashem Yishmor and it’s an unfortunate situation. The Ganavim don’t know how much Tzar they are causing people
i am so confused, i thought is was lace top sheitels that was the reason for all our problems.
