SURVEILLANCE VIDEO: Lakewood Police Officers pull badly-injured man from burning vehicle after accident

Lakewood police officers last night pulled a driver from a burning vehicle after a high-speed accident in Lakewood.

At approximately 10:45 PM last night, police received reports of a vehicle slamming into multiple other vehicles at a dealership on Route 88, and upon arrival found a vehicle engulfed in flames -with the injured driver still inside the vehicle.

The officers jumped into action, pulling the badly-injured driver from the vehicle, and treating him until EMS and paramedics arrived.

The driver was airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police told TLS.

The accident is under investigation.
