  1. is there any sight of the unidentified angel who helped the injured? where was he coming from? how did he get there? where did he go from there?

    • Does automatically brake but there’s nothing you can do when he cuts right in front of you like that. It’s too fast to recognize and brake. Swerved over to try and avoid it but there was nothing to do

  2. WOW !!!!! to many people driving like its worth speeding to get somewhere a minute sooner , here is proof its NOT ,also hard to believe the car turning also couldn’t wait a second longer before turning, to many inattentive drivers on the road !!!

    • 1. Only one exclamation point is necessary.
      2. Too (x2)
      3. it’s
      4. No space between the end of a word and the coma or exclamation point.
      5. The word also is used twice in the same sentence.
      6. Your final point begins with the driver not waiting to turn but ends with being inattentive.

  3. Even if you have a green light, it is not a wise idea to fly through an intersection.
I am making a general statement, I do not know if this guy was flying or not.

  4. Sunday morning I turned right onto County Line Rd from Tanglewood on my way to Boro Park and the road was closed due to the accident so immediately turned right into Arboretum and went back to County Line Road and than made a left and took Kent Road instead.
The fault of the accident was both of them:
The Minivan’s fault: before making a left don’t rush in front of distant oncoming vehicles, don’t assume they’re going the speed limit, wait a minute till it’s totally clear to turn left.
The Tesla’s fault: the speed limit on County Line Road is 40mph of which the Tesla was doing nearly DOUBLE of that; Tesla’s go from 0mph to 75mph in 5 seconds, most EV’s have faster pick up than a Ferrari.
And if each of them would have been off of their cell phones that accident could have been somewhat avoided.
    A Refuah Shleima to them.

    • Are stating facts or making assumptions?
how do you know how fast the tesla was going?
how is the pickup of EV’s relevant to this story?
was anyone on their cell phones? or are you just throwing out random statements?

    • Why do you say he was driving 75 mph? Because he was driving a Tesla? Teslas can drive at lower speeds as well.

The fault lies with the person who couldn’t wait a few seconds to make his left turn. This is a huge problem here in town. People are in too much of a rush and are too confident their own abilities to judge whether they can just manage to clear the intersection, the other drivers reaction time, and the quality of the other drivers brakes.

Witnessing several of these near misses I wonder at the drivers who willingly entrust their lives in the driving prowess of total strangers.

      • The extent of vehicle damage & videos don’t lye .
Man did that Tesla “Floor It” & The Tesla never braked or attempted to break, which indicates the Tesla driver was looking at the cell phone and not the road.
And the other vehicle with that crazy, sloppy, careless attempted left turn was a “cell-phoner”as well. Not just Lakewood; Everywhere the same

  5. I saw it happen. The car made the left gradually (I didn’t see the tesla until split Second before the bang). I believe the tesla was going at a high speed. But definitely every driver should give the full time to turn……….. drivers also MUST drive on speed. Example of safe driving versus aggressive and reckless driving. 1. Trip time 20 minutes. 2. Safe driving 23 minutes. 3. Aggressive & reckless driving 17 minutes 4 total difference (about)6 minutes. 5.safe driving cost 3 minutes of your time and who ever is in the car. 6. Aggressive and reckless driving receiving 3 minutes 7. If number 6 is chosen to be done and something happens all the time that all the people lose. Is all on that drivers head that chose number 6
