[UPDATED] We regret to inform you of the sudden Petirah of R’ Yitzchok Itzkowitz Z’L, of Flatbush, NY, who was Niftar this morning. R’ Yitzchok (Isaac), approximately 50 years old, was an active member of the L’asurim organization recently launched in Lakewood.R’ Yitzchok was a steady volunteer for the organization and would visit inmates in prisons on a daily basis. When he failed to show up this morning, a mother of one of the inmates contacted L’asurim to inquire of his whereabouts.
Sources say Hatzolah was called to his home this morning, where he lived alone, and when he failed to answer the door, they knocked down the door and found him unresponsive.
The Levaya will be taking place at the Shomrei Hadas Chapel, 3803 14th Avenue, at 2 PM.
