Must have been a long email because most of these systems shut down anywhere from half an hour to as long as an hour for newer Toyotas. They also give a message on the infotainment screen as well as an audible warning before shutting down.

H shut it off himself and then started typing.

He prefaced it with how the newer cars shut themselves off after a certain period of time. He never said that he turned off the car, but he did insinuate that the car shut off by itself after he passed out.

If you had any kind of education you could see right through this story. According to him he had “a few small emails and tasks”. Takes what, maybe 20-30 minutes to complete? If he “passed out” in the middle (+/-15 minutes), he would have been drowsy and shouldn’t have been driving to start with. Next, since you obviously don’t know anything about cars, the warning buzzer is loud which would have woken anyone up. But let’s say he did pass out, wasn’t woken by the alarm and was displaying symptoms of heat exhaustion (dizzy, hard to breath, profusely sweating, lack of coordination) when he came to and “stumbled” into his office as he stated. A drink of cold water and some a/c isn’t bringing you around in “a few minutes”. I would imagine that his workers would have done the right thing and made a quick call to Hatzolah seeing him in that condition. Too much in this story doesn’t add up.

‘Passed out’ means fell asleep? Meaning just from exaustion – before the engine (or a/c on electirc vehicle?) shut down?

yes, even if you leave a door open, on a hot day, the car will still be much warmer than outside

The ignorance in these comments is laughable. The “story” is true. No facts were exaggerated or made up. I don’t understand people’s need to comment about things that they were not there to experience. This was posted so that people can be made aware and be careful. That’s all.

It sounds like these comments are all trying to out-do each other. This to me, and any other healthy person, is just a PSA to the general public.
If its a lie – It still brings out a good point. If its true – It also brings out the same point.
As my mother always told me “if your good at something, do it all day”. If discrediting someone is something that your good at, then keep doing it.
To the story teller – Thank you
