Wow! I’m so glad you got it all figured out! And all this time I thought it was because of the shidduch crisis!
Sorry you’ve got to get out a bit more. Lakewood tuition rates are the envy of 90% of OOT parents. Do you have any idea what tuition prices are like outside of Lakewood? It’s a miracle that Lakewood mosdos aren’t charging double or what they are. Even some OOT places that have vouchers charge more than what Lakewood parents pay ON TOP OF the vouchers!
It’s true that tuition is an extreme strain on so many parents budgets. But it certainly isn’t because Lakewood tuition prices are too high!
I was thinking that just like organizations like Ohel Sarala matches singles with couples, schools can match single graduates as daily or monthly sponsors to the school and the children can daven for them on that day.
Everyone applying to an elementary school is probably quite young.
A percentage of those people will be successful in business and have money to spare.
If schools alienate them in the application process, they will end up eating their words when a wealthy parent refuses to fund anything beyond their obligations.
