State OEM & NWS Monitoring Possible Snow For Wednesday

snow_lakewood_madison_ave_tlsThe New Jersey Regional Operations Intelligence Center reports the State Office of Emergency Management (NJ OEM) is monitoring a weather event in coordination with the National Weather Service (NWS). A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Middlesex-Western Monmouth-Mercer-Gloucester-Camden- Northwestern Burlington-Ocean and Southeastern burlington county.
 
Impact: Rain and snow will overspread the region tonight. A period of snow is possible Wednesday morning before the snow changes to rain. The Wednesday morning commute may have slick driving conditions in spots. The greatest chance of this occurring is in Central New Jersey. TLS.

  1. Arrange your car pools for your kids tonight. If past experiences are any example, chances are they will declare an “emergency” and run the buses 90 minutes late.

  2. why is it busses can run safely outside the tristate area in up to 6-8 inches of snow, but here in lakewood 1″ is already an emergency?
