Starbucks Workers Union Sparks Controversy Over Hamas Solidarity Social Media Post

A Starbucks labor union allied with far-left politicians such as Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has expressed solidarity with Hamas terrorists after the worst domestic terrorist attack in Israel’s history.

The union, formally known as Starbucks Workers United, which is an affiliate of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), wrote in their now deleted social media post “Solidarity with Palestine!” atop of an image of a Hamas bulldozer seen destroying a portion of the border wall along the Gaza border.

The post can be seen below the article.

The union, which represents 9,000 baristas, has also promoted pro-Palestinian rallies across the country this week.

For their part, Starbucks, which does not operate in Israel, later said in a statement that they “unequivocally disagree with the statements and views expressed by Workers United or its members. Workers United’s words and actions belong to them, and them alone.”

In a separate statement on Wednesday Starbucks expressed sympathy for “those who have been killed, wounded, displaced and impacted following the heinous acts of terror, escalating violence and hate against the innocent in Israel and Gaza.”

  1. When asked about the Starbucks labor union’s pro-Hamas social media post and the statement from Starbucks equating Hamas and Israel, one Jewish fellow told reporters on Thursday: “Jews need to wake up and smell the coffee already! Starbucks and its labor union are not our friends! Let this be a wake-up call to all of us!”

  2. who cares? anybody who works in starbucks isn’t making waves in any society, they rank at the lowest pay level and it’s not even a vital position by any standard.

soon they will be joined by the untrained sanitation workers association
