YOUR questions!
For the last time until 2044, a total solar eclipse will be visible in the Continental United States.
On Erev Rosh Chodesh Nissan 5784, Monday, April 8, 2024, the eclipse will sweep across a narrow path. From Texas to Maine.
The sky will darken, birds will stop chirping
and you will be plunged into a premature night.
You can register for the event here.
Some things to know:
Solar glasses must be worn to view this eclipse, ppl have been temporarily blinded and have suffered retina and vision issues after viewing a solar eclipse without proper glasses.
In NJ we are not in the path of totality.
That means we will see the interesting eclipse but it won’t get fully dark here.
But def something interesting to experience (educate ppl plz, TLS, Abt the safety precautions needed re viewing it properly)
