  1. since when is giving a teller a note to give over money a real robbery?

why didn’t the teller push a security button right away and NOT give the money?

NO gun? No problem for Lakewood bank tellers! They are giving away our money right and left! Just slip them a note!

  2. What would happen if the teller writes him a note back, “Let me see your weapon & I’ll give you the money?”

I’ll bet the coward didn’t even have a weapon.

  3. Why would the bank teller even risk their lives or anyone’s life in the bank by not doing what he says. Your money is insured by the bank so you are not losing a penny. That is unless you exceeded the max amount the bank insures.

  4. The banks have a strict policy, during a hold-up you MUST give over the money, otherrwise you can get fired. Its for the safety of the employees , so they don’t sue ,’em .

  5. I was there in the bank when the holdup occurred. The teller was in shock. Nobody was thinking straight. The guy said in the note that he had a weapon.
Stop picking on the teller. Fifteen minutes later she was still visibly shaken. If you would have been in her situation, you probably would have reacted the same way.

  6. @ Justincase.. he probably didn’t do anything, because he’s not a moron. I’m sure you wouldn’t have done anything either..but probably for different reasons.
