It’s a question many have, but with no clear answer.
Where is Ocean County located, in Central Jersey or in South Jersey?
Today, a student at Rutgers posed the question to Governor Murphy on social media, and Murphy responded.
His question was, “Hey Gov. Murphy me and my classmates in my Rutgers urban planning chat are debating whether Toms River is Central Jersey or South Jersey. What are your thoughts, and what do you legally define Ocean County as?”
Murphy responded, though vaguely.
”Jared – Please see the attached map. Ocean County is occasionally left out of statutory definitions, but mainly included within the borders of Central Jersey.”
So the next time someone asks you where Ocean County is located, we’re in “Central Debatable” (or just send them a link to this article 🙂 )
Central Jersey doesn’t doesn’t exist tho ???? we’re technically South
And I though we were on the Jersey Shore. I see it’s not even an option!
Mars.
It’s always been known as South Jersey. I’ll continue that so I won’t be anyway associated with North Jersey!!!
I had a great, great uncle who wasn’t too bright. He fought in the Civil War; he fought for the West…….
told u matt, next trip its CENTRAL JERSEY!!!
Depends on if it’s snowing or not. If it’s not snoeing we’re south and if it is, we’re north.
Definitely South Jersey it takes over an hour just to get to Atlantic City.
I don’t know what it’s called; But it’s occupied by the same corrupted crooks as the rest of NJ.
Looking more more like the Far East to me with each passing day.
啦 嗄 块 饿 万 噢 噢 破 !!!!!.
Google Translation of #10 – “Oh oh I am very hungry oh oh broken”
@10: Even though Google is really the CIA, that’s pretty close. In woke language, you might say “non-essential”. Business closed, bankrupt, no credit, no food. Thank you, Chairman Mur Fei.
