Snow is heading for Lakewood this weekend, along with freezing temperatures. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will hit between the high 20s and mid 30s for Friday and Saturday.
Snow is expected to fall Saturday afternoon, with accumulation of about one inch. The chance of snow is close to 100 %.
There’s a 50 % chance of snow for Saturday evening too.
!!!! one inch is I hope a foot ..i could use the $$ for snow blowing for a change. Tired of just rain
To #1 your a little selfish the amount of inconvenience that a foot of snow brings is immeasurable
Ahhhh!!!! I love snow!!! hope we get lots of it!!!!!!!
To #1 your a Very selfish ! How do u think all the people making simchos will feel when its half empty ? how do u think all the elderly will manage
If it snows how will they get the roads plowed with all the treee limbs still laying by the curbs. That should make for more of a mess when they will only be able to plow the middle of the roads, driving is crazy enough in Lakewood let alone having snow and ice on the roads. Lets hope we don’t get the storm.
Who said anything about plowing? And maybe if they do plow, they will plow the branches away too!!
Lol you are all crazy number one doesn’t ultimately decide if it should site or not so stop calling him selfish as if he calls the shots
This means there will most likely be another death in tent city, either by hypothermia, or being burnt in a fire
I happen to like snow, sometimes, and I understand the feelings of those who can’t stand it because of the inconvenience and the hazards and I also understand the feelings of those who do snowplowing for a living and children of ALL ages (up till 120) who love to play in the snow. So, leave it up to Hashem to decide when to give us snow and enjoy!
Wow!!! An INCH of snow. I therefore predict 27 accidents in Lakewood, mostly caused by people who don’t know how to drive.
Lets just daven that it wont be more than a inch, or no snow at all.
anyone interested in learning how to look at the positive of everything?
how can you look at snow in the positive direction? (versus negative) what does a positive person think of when he sees snow? he sees the wonders & beauty of it. what else can brighten the world in the middle of the night without any electricity? we say in maariv every night yotzer ohr m’pnei choshech v’choshech m’pnei ohr (Hashem goes from light to darkness & vice versa). How is snow created? & look at how Hashem decides each storm how much to send down, if it should be think enough to stick or if the storm should just pass & melt.
BOTTOM LINE: type anything & i will return to you how to look at it in the positive way. ex. a big water bill in the mail or a levaya C”V
You are absolutely correct! Thank you! A lot of people seem to always find something to complain about.
One inch of snow. Wow. And the Board of Ed will cancel school for a week and transportation for two weeks.
my street is not plowed yet, where’s public works?
oh dear lets just hope the power stays on!!!!! cant even call on shabbos!
thank you #12
you hit the nail on its head
this is why sandy came !
WE MUST LOOK FOR THE GOOD IN EVERY SINGLE PERSON NO MATTER OF THEIR BACK ROUNDS ETC…
I love snow! Newsflash to all the haters- you live in New Jersey. There has been snow here for a very long time. If you dont like it, move to a warmer state!

Thanks to the great work of the Township the “snow” was caught in mid air protecting Lakewood. Brick and Howell were not so lucky 🙂
HAHAHAHA. Last laugh. Once more the storm avoided Lkwd. What special gift do we have from the Ribbono shel Olam?
