Several Injured from Turbulence on Newark-bound United Flight

Several people were injured on board a United flight headed to Newark from Tel Aviv after it was diverted to Stewart International in New York State Friday because of high winds and turbulence, according to Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus.

Approximately 200 people were on board the flight.

Some were taken to hospitals for treatment, while others were taken via bus to Newark.
