Very impressive
Beautiful! mi ki’amcha yisroel!
Al eleh ani boychiah
Exactly. Stop all drinking in Klal Yisroel. talk to those in the know, alcohol addiction in our circles rival all other communities per capita.
Thank you for promoting getting so drunk you can’t drive. We really appreciate your contribution to klal yisroel. Now we don’t have to worry anymore.
They should have written instead, “If you drank and you can’t read this sign, call Lakeway….”
What an absolute booshah that we have come to this. These things were unheard of just a few decades ago. It’s high time for bochurim to rethink their ways and understand that they are better off listening to those older and more experienced than them. The day will come when their own children will come home and wanting even crazier things and saying, “what’s wrong? we are just chilling”. They are all going down a very dangerous road thinking they understand everything. Every generation keeps moving just a little bit more “left” until soon there will be nothing left. And they will only have themselves to blame…..Hashem Yerachem.
Huh? We are still way more to the right than most communities were in Europe, at least for the last 200 years. Love the whitewashing.
What does your contribution to this post have to do with calling for a ride if needed?
this is not new. chazal patered the chasan u’shushbinav are from tefillin, because they were likely to be drunk.
“Hel… hel… hello? Is (hic…) is this the Lakeway Alcoholics Anonymous office? Well, I think I had too… too much, much to drink…. I think so, anyway… The sign says that I… (hic) … that I can charge the drinks to… (hic) to Lakeway’s credit card account. But Lakeway’s account number has… (hic) has been whited out. Can I have the credit card account number, please? I had three 32 ounce bottles of vodka, about 63 dollars. Sanks. Also, can… can you please call my friend Shloimy and ask…. ask him to… to.. (hic) pick me down… pick me up….from the ground…. and to drive me home.
Sorry, but I don’t know the telephone numbers of any car services around here. Sank yuze very mut (hic), and hurry, please… (hic)…. Where am I?…”
To be honest i liked the “shadchanim availabke to meet singles” sign better,(it may also indirectly reduce drinking)
is that sign supposed to be an idiotic joke or is it an out and out chilul HaShem? driving while drunk is NOT FUNNY!!
i agree bubs, all these whippersnappers asking this guy Lakeway for reimbursements for their alcohol is totally reckless. if you drink you should pay for it yourself or dont drink at all!!!
Anyone who needs a ride guess what I will not let anyone with an open bottle of alchohol in my vehicle or I will be the designated driver to many people are killed by drunk driving
