PHOTOS & VIDEO: A School Bus carrying special need children was involved in an MVA this afternoon. The School Bus, carrying 10 children, and another vehicle were reportedly traveling in opposite directions on Oberlin Avenue when the car spun out of control, and crashed into the School Bus. The School bus then lost control and struck a telephone pole.
Mulitple Hatzolah and EMS BLS and ALS units responded to the scene.
The patient from the vehicle was transported by Hatzolah to KMC with minor injuries.
A P.A from Dr. Shanik’s office was dispatched to the scene to evaluate the children. None of the children suffered any serious injuries. TLS-CCP/TLS-00/TLS-GK.

The Center is amazing. My son was there for a few years and there no adequate words to thank Mrs. Chaya Rochel Bender, Mrs. Mimi Bloch, Mrs. Adina Levovitz, Mrs. Yachi Twerski and all the other amazing staff who were Moser Nefesh to care for my son and all the other special kinder of the Center.

why is it in lakewood i see the most bus mva?
Because TLS reports them! In other towns these non incidents go by without mention.
#9 NO, it’s because it rarely happens in other towns and when it does it gets reported. People outside of Lakewood have more respect for the busses with children aboard.
