Anyone caught running a red light at Chambers Bridge Road and Brick Boulevard prior to September 1st has gotten a warning mailed to their home. The warning period ended Sept. 1. Motorists now caught running a red light at the intersection will receive a summons that carries an $85 fine.
Chambers Bridge and Route 70 has a red light camera as well.
No driver’s license points will be associated with tickets issued based on photos.
Summonses will be issued only when the video shows that a motorist’s car completely passed the white stop line painted on the road after the light had turned red.
Good deal, they should put them all over LKWD!!
these lights should be stoned and knocked out. if you want to catch me then catch me . dont put up cameras. imagine someone borrows your car and then your stuck with the bill
To NO. *dont lend out your car to irresponsible drivers if you are so concerned
red means STOP.
There are cameras all over lakewood. I noticed a few attached to the lights at many busy intersections. I wonder if they are working yet.

By the way they have been giving out tickets from that light for over two years now. I know because I got one two years ago, and I happily paid for it.
Come to the west coast and they’re at every single intersection. Lakewood needs to learn to be more responsible drivers.
You “happily” paid for it? My foot.
to wow. if you extra money to spare happily give me some
