REMINDER: UPS Customer Counter in Lakewood Closing This Week

Last month, TLS reported in the Ask The Mayor column that the UPS Customer Counter at their Vassar Avenue location in Lakewood will be closing.

The Mayor wrote, “We did some research today.

Contrary to 1 rumor we were told about, UPS is not closing their facility in town.

UPS has made a corporate decision to close ALL Customer counters in all their facilities. They cite the abundance of UPS Stores & other facilities which allow people to ship their packages from those locations, as well as the need for increased security in their buildings.”

The facility hung up a sign with the locations of the UPS Stores, where customers can drop off packages.

It’s okay. That place is horrible anyways. They make up new rules daily. They limit package drop offs for no reason etc.
