whats toras emes ? is it a hasidic yeshiva? are there chasidic yeshivas in lakewood?
when i was in cheder and a rosh yeshive used to come visit he used to faher us on what we were learning, whats with all the singing? is it a yom tov today?
im truly surprized that after all these years of lakewoods existence there has yet to be a *lakewooder rebbe*
The best yeshiva by far in Lakewood!
In Modzhitz, the neginah is a form of Torah (and I say this not condescendingly) It certainly is a high form of Avodah. And teaching young children heilige nigunnim can only set them on a path of Kedusha for life – an appreciation of true Yiddish music – not some perverted form of rock and heavy metal combined that passes for Jewish music today.
The Yeshiva was founded by R’ Simcha Lichtenstein, who, in addition to being a tremendous Talmid Chacham and mechanech, is a mumcheh in Modzhitz nigunim.
The Rebbe looks pretty impressive!
Nice to see that there’s a Chassidishe Rebbe that the kids seem to feel so comfortable with. I wonder if the Modzitzer is going to do more in Lakewood, and if so, is TLS going to continue covering it?
Its an invasion : The chasidim are invading lakewood . The litvaks are running scared . lakewood today has Yekes, chasidim, sefardim, mexicans, taimonim, yemonim, and stam fell of the tree yidelech. You mamash have to look for a litvak nowdays, Save the litvaks.
