Reader-submitted: Swastikas at a park in Howell (PHOTOS)

“I would like to bring to your attention something both disturbing and appalling I found this afternoon while out with my family.

My kids were rollerblading in the first hockey rink in Deerwood Park in Howell, and me and my wife were sitting in the HOME team players bench when we noticed hate symbols scratched into boards in the bench area. We saw at least three, but there might be more.

UPDATE: “Howell Police sent an officer right away.”

  Maybe Lakewood needs to make some donations to out of town parks since those parks have a cost or pay to create similar spaces within our towns borders.
