Rav Dovid Sternbuch in Lakewood on Mission on Behalf of his Grandfather, Maran Haposek Harav Moshe Sternbuch Shlita

Rav Dovid Sternbuch, a grandson and right-hand man of Maran, Posek Hador, Hagaon Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch Shlita, has arrived in Lakewood on a mission from his grandfather for the benefit of the Kollel Mercaz HaTorah Teshuvos Vehanhagos.

Mercaz HaTorah Teshuvos Vehanhagos was established by Harav Moshe Sternbuch Shlita in order to raise rabbonim and morei hora’a and to pass on to them the way of rendering halachic decisions that Maran shlita acquired from his teachers, the luminaries of the previous generations.

For a while already, Harav Moshe Sternbuch shlitaa has been expressing his pain that there are many talented people whose potential to become morei halacha can be realized, and they are lost to us because they never learned how to study halacha properly; and therefore, at the request of Maran shlit”a, the Mercaz HaTorah Teshuvos Vehanhagos for the study of halacha was established, where the talmidim observe rabbonim as they render halachic decisions and are put in close contact with a great talmid chacham.

In addition, Mercaz HaTorah Teshuvos Vehanhagos is publishing some of Maran shlit”a’s books, besides the weekly newsletters containing Maran shlita’s weekly classes, tens of thousands of copies of which are printed and distributed around the Jewish world – thus making Da’as Torah known.

And now, after the extension of the institution with the opening of a new branch in Modi’in Illit, and with some of Maran shlita’s books about to be published, his grandson and right-hand man, is on a quick mission to the U.S., to place Mercaz HaTorah Teshuvos Vehanhagos on a firm basis.
