PHOTOS: After hearing what Tomchei Shabbos of Lakewood does and how it’s one of the main Kupas Tzedakahs of Lakewood, Rav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita signed a letter of Bracha encouraging the participation in the upcoming Dinner.
The one explaining to Rav Chaim about about Tomchei Shabbos, and whom received the Michtav Bracha, was his son Rav Shlomo, the featured guest speaker at the upcoming Tomchei Shabbos Dinner.
Rav Shlomo Kanievsky, the eldest son of Maran Rav Chaim Kanievsky and a Rosh Yeshiva of a network of Yeshivas totalling over 1,000 Talmidim, will be making the special trip to America to speak at the Dinner.
His address is expected to include stories, Halachos, and Hanhagos in Tzedakah that he saw by his Parents Rav Chaim and Rebbetzin Batsheva.
The dinner will be taking place this Motzei Shabbos, February 2nd, at Bais Faiga.
Tomchei Shabbos, provides food and other items for over 500 needy families throughout Lakewood, and has a budget of close to $2 million.

If u can spare 2 hrs a YEAR, I would urge u to come down to the warehouse every 4th Thursday & help pack the boxes. Or, at least, do a delivery. It’ll change ur whole perspective on this organization. And maybe even ur LIFE. DB.
