That really leaves no hotel to stay in in the area. Anyone here old enough to remember the Days Inn on Madison btwn 9th street and 10th street.

From the 70 Area

There’s a Hilton Garden Inn on the 70.

I remember when it was still a Holiday Inn.

Of course, there was a cigarette machine we as kids used to go buy over there. Those were the days you could buy a pack of cigarettes from a machine, for sure not more than a dollar,

And I remember the many hotels that were in Lakewood before they were repurposed to schools. All you have to do is check on the history of Lakewood.

There’s a Hilton Garden Inn, and a Best Western, both on RT.70 in Lakewood.

Why doesn’t a developer sell each room as a luxury condo for those wanting to move to Lakewood?
