[COMMUNICATED] Thousands of cholei Yisroel are in a race for life. They’re running against formidable opponents – and are depending on the community to help them win. The names of their foes are frightening: cancer, kidney failure, life-threatening infections, and nearly every other disease and condition known to man. And right beside them at every step of the way is Chaim Medical Resource.

We have to help – no matter what it costs to keep our cardiac specialist at her desk.” The same applies with every single specialty, from the eye disorders specialist to the Crohn’s and Colitis department.
“People are frantic when they call,” she says. “They need reassurance, they need to know where to go, and they need it right away.” Chaim Medical Resource’s staff of dedicated specialists deal with medical specialties including rare cancers, premature birth, infectious diseases and much more. And the organization’s founder and director, Mrs. Shevy Kahan, along with her indefatigable co-director, Mrs. Pessy Schlafrig, leave no stone unturned in their quest to help their suffering brethren.
They have the biggest specialists in every field on speed-dial – and are so respected in the medical world; physicians have been known to take their calls even in the midst of important meetings and appointments. Now they’re urging the community to come forward and help.
“Nearly everyone knows someone who was helped by Chaim Medical,” says Mrs. Schlafrig. “You may not know about it because people keep things quiet, but the fact is, we’ve helped many thousands of people, and our phone doesn’t stop ringing.” Now the organization is calling on you.
