The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is alerting motorists that no fuel — and no diesel — is currently available at the Jon Bon Jovi Service Area on the Garden State Parkway in Sayreville.

The outage at the service area, located at milepost 124 just south of the Driscoll Bridge, is due to line testing, the Authority said in an alert Tuesday morning. Variable message signs are in use to warn drivers approaching the plaza.

Motorists planning to fill up at the plaza should fuel up before reaching the area. The nearest service areas with fuel are the Colonia service areas to the north and the Judy Blume Service Area in Wall to the south.

It was not immediately clear how long fuel would be unavailable.
