Submitted: If you’re hosting a shabbos sheva brachos, aufruf, or other simcha, we know you want your family and friends to be comfortable. You arrange guest rooms near the shul for those who have trouble walking, and place families with small children within the erev.
Now, with the new Bella Granek Portable Highchair Gemach you have one less thing to worry about. Both mommy and baby will be comfortable sitting around the table enjoying the beautiful seudos you so lovingly planned in honor of your simcha. Our portable highchairs are lightweight, easy to transport, and are securely strapped on to any chair.
Bella Granek, a’h, niftar on erev Pesach, was a longtime resident of Lakewood. Mrs. Granek a’h was a Holocaust refugee who escaped Germany the morning after Kristallnacht. In 1960, she moved to Lakewood with her husband and children. Mr. and Mrs. Granek were one of the founding members of R’ Blech’s shul. Mrs. Granek was a popular childcare provider. She was known for helping young mothers get their infants onto a schedule and gave working mothers a priceless gift; peace of mind. While away at work, mothers knew there was nothing to worry about back home because they had left their children in loving hands.
