The traffic was caused by a dump truck that didnt lower his back and he drove off with the over head wires-nothing to do with speeding and careless driving-the guy may have been moving only 5mph-but it was the wires he pulled down…I hope hes fined hefty!! the night mare he caused to 10’s of thousands that day…

  2. Maybe someone should have put that sign up at all zoning and planning board meetings 15 or 20 years ago. The rest of us residents of Lakewood were smart enough to see that issuing variances to every builder who requested them was taking Lakewood in the wrong direction. Maybe if we would have reminded those on the boards to think smart and long term instead of short term we wouldn’t have so many of the problems on the roads and elsewhere in Lakewood, that we have today.
