Anyone with information is asked to call the Lakewood Police.
UPDATE: 12:45 AM. The vehicle was located on Monmouth Avenue by an LCSW volunteer patrolling the area.
Police have impounded the car for processing by CIU.
Where dd this happen? How did the thief know where the keys to the car were?
was from rabbi Ginsbergs shul on 937 county line road.
Had to be some one that knows where keys are kept. Makes you wonder who did it….
Why did the police impound the vehicle now the owner will be out at, least 200 dollars besides for whatever damage the thieves did.
Now the man will have to pay for having his car impounded…help
why would anyone leave the keys IN an unlocked car? do people not realize where they live?
B”h car was found
Was waiting 4this 2 happen, guys u gotta b more careful!!!!
Good work lcsw 24!!!!
As usual, the victim is put on trial; par for the course.
#1 and #3, it doesn’t make you wonder too much, unless you have a very under-active imagination. The thief went into the shul and found keys and then went outside and pressed the UNLOCK button and heard a beep and figured it out, WONDER NO MORE!
#6 it doesn’t say anywhere in the story that the keys were left in the car. They were left in the shul.
At least the car was found. Thank you LCSW and LDP for creating a safe town.
