Police Chief Greg Meyer on impending Blizzard: We’re not trying to panic people, but it’s going to be nasty

Police Chief Greg Meyer says resident should prepare for a nasty storm.

“We’re not trying to panic people, but it’s just going to be a long nasty day.”

The Chief says whiteout driving conditions may occur, and residents should not attempt to drive if it isn’t urgent.

“We’re asking the public to really limit their driving on Tuesday – get some last-minute items if you need then, and prepare to spend the day with the family,” says Chief Meyer.

The Chief also urged residents to keep trash cans and vehicles off the street.

“The storm is going to start off mild, but really ramp up.”
