PHOTOS: Vandal shatters Lakewood Hatzolah member’s vehicle windows, steals emergency lights

A Lakewood Hatzolah member out on calls returned to his vehicle a short time ago to find a his vehicle interior covered in shattered glass, with a large rock on the floor.

The member tells TLS he was parked at the entrance to Pine Park (at the Lakewood/Jackson border), and when he returned, around midnight, he found his passenger side window shattered, as well as his windshield. The vandal then stole his emergency lights on his dashboard.

Lakewood police responded and are investigating. Chaveirim also responded to assist in the cleanup.

Disgraceful. Has Jackson stooped to sabotaging emergency personnel now or was this just the work of hooligans with too much time on their hands and no consciences?

Why wouldn’t he just park in the parking lot?

How low can people stoop !?
Attack the vehicle of a dedicated volunteer who responded to a call for help ?
Unfortunately if our “neighbors “ don’t
Learn to respect us individually, and continue to buy in to false stereotypes about our community.
This will only get worse .

Emergency lights can be quite expensive, I hope he gets the community support he deserves .

I’ve seen creepy guys hanging out in the pine park parking lot even during the day. Lakewood doesn’t feel that safe anymore.
