PHOTOS: A vehicle with occupants matching the description of the shooting suspect was stopped at gunpoint this evening as authorities continue their search.

The vehicle was traveling on East County Line Road shortly before 7 PM when Detectives spotted it. Believing the driver, or occupants, matched the description of the shooting suspect, police pulled over the vehicle at gunpoint.

Multiple officers, including LPD’s Street Crimes units drew their guns and ordered the men out of the car. The men were ordered to the ground while police verified their identities.

It turns out however they were not the suspects.

Authorities are looking for a white Infinity with plates Y50-DXC in connection with the shooting. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 25 yrs old, 5’06″, approximately 170lbs, medium length dread locks, and last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and white sneakers. He was last seen traveling East on Kennedy Boulevard.
