On Monday night, over 500 children experienced a taste of Purim Yerushalayim and Purim USA at Chai Lifeline’s annual Purim Celebration at Ateres Reva Hall.
The party is the highlight of the year for Chai Lifeline’s families, who were greeted by a candy-filled shuk complete with burlap nosh bags, and an all-American carnival including a classic carousel ride.
Families were served a full fleishig dinner replete with Yerushalmi and American cuisine, including schwarma, falafel, hotdogs and burgers. Michoel Pruzansky graced the stage with his presence, revving up the ruach and enthusiasm while Chai Lifeline volunteers engaged the children in spirited dancing and singing. Every child left with their own door prize, tons of nosh, and a warm feeling of belonging.
“Thank you to our tireless team of volunteers and vendors who contributed their time and talent, whose names are too numerous to mention, but who are appreciated tremendously!” said Chai Lifeline.
