PHOTOS: Mayor Albert Akerman this morning along with other local officials welcomed the newly elected Mayor of Bnei Brak, Israel, during his first visit to Lakewood in his official capacity.
R’ Avrohom Rubenstein, elected about two weeks ago, replaced former Mayor Yaakov Asher who was recently elected as a member of the Knesset.
During a meeting at the Mayor’s office, the officials congratulated the newly elected and discussed the different duties the Mayors and officials serve in their respective cities, as well as other functions within their governments.
Following the meeting at the Mayor’s office, the group met with Police Chief Rob Lawson, and also paid a visit to CHEMED.
The Mayor was accompanied by Bnei Brak’s Liaison, Eli Hoder. TLS.
Mayor Rubinstein is a ben toirah and fully supported by the gedolim in Bnei brak.
Maybe Mayor Rubinstein can lower out taxes here in Lakewood !
