PHOTOS: Lakewood’s Newest Volunteer Firefighters Sworn in

swearing inLakewood’s newest volunteer firefighters were sworn in during last night’s Township Committee meeting.

Nine firefighters from Lakewood were among a group of 30 volunteer firefighters from around the County who graduated the Ocean County Fire Academy last month, and several others from a previous class.

The following men were sworn in: Station 64: Motti Moerman, Ovaid Battat, Boruch Lang and Hillel Kaluszyner; Station 65: Nelson Carver and Eddie Romanchik; Station 66: Avrumi Mutterperl; Station 67: Leiby Friedman; Station 68: Shlolmo Cochavi. Also sworn in, were Dovid Bender, Jacob Woolf, Matt Rosen, Israel Goldman, Mike Kasper, Jason Van Soset and James Powel.
