PHOTOS: Lakewood Police Officer responding to call involved in accident

5[PHOTOS BELOW] A Lakewood police officer responding to call was involved in an accident this morning, Lieutenant Greg Staffordsmith confirms to TLS.

The accident occurred around 6:20 AM at the intersection of Cedarbridge Avenue and MLK Drive.

The police officer, as well as a passenger of the other vehicle, were transported to Monmouth medical Center Southern Campus with minor injuries.

The accident is being investigated by the Department’s Traffic Safety unit.
