Last Wednesday, the inaugural fundraising event for Eim Leah was held in Lakewood.
The event took place at the Vineyard, located in the Gourmet Glatt Plaza.
Eim Leah’s mission is to provide respite for Lakewood Kimpeturin.
“Our weekly care package ensures that each new mother receives babysitting, cleaning help, hot suppers, lunches and layette… A bundle of love and assistance that is so crucial to the physical and emotional well-being of the new mother and her family,” the organization said.
Members of the Lakewood and Toms River community were represented by their respective hosts. Among the hosts were Moshe Tress, Nachum Bergman, Zecharia Greenspan, Dave Kahan, Shaya Engel, Gershon Tress & Yoel Chaim Strulovics.
The event was sponsored by Feinstein Raiss Kelin & Booker, a long time Real Estate firm serving our community. David Lieberman was the guest speaker.
Eim Leah has been established by a group of friends in memory of Leah Bergman Eisdorfer A”H, who tragically passed away last year, and to date has helped close to 150 families.
Event planning and design organized by Ester Schiff & Shifrah Steele.
