PHOTOS: Reb Bentzion Oiring, the head of Zaka Israel, was in Lakewood yesterday for a brief visit.
Oiring, a world renowned Askan, was brought to Lakewood to speak at the Shloshom of Aron Sofer Z”L.
Upon hearing of the disappearance of Sofer, Oiring sprung into action and utilizied every resource available to him to try and locate the boy. Oiring reportedly went that entire week without going home, or even changing from his Shabbos cloths.
Yesterday, Oiring visited with various Rabbonim, Askonim and officials around town before heading back to Eretz Yisroel.

I can’t beelieve I missed him! What a great tzaddik!!
The man is selfless. He will wake up any time during the night to help you. I remember him from my teenager days in Israel – he was so full of happiness and joy. Today he’s become an old man from his financial difficulties – he literally does not have a penny to his name. But he will stop everything to help someone.
He didn’t sleep for 4 days while he searched for Aron Sofer.
But I’m not surprised. This is the Bentzy that we all know.
