PHOTOS: Assemblyman Kean Participates in ‘Read Across America’ at Oak Street School

PHOTOS: Children at the Oak Street School this past Friday were honored with the visit of Assemblyman Sean Kean in honor of ‘Read Across America’.

Assemblyman Kean, a 30th District Representative, read a Dr. Seuss book to the children Mrs. Bonk’s Second grade.

Read Across America coincides with what would have been Dr. Seuss’s 109th birthday. Dr. Seuss, is a pen name for Theodor Seuss Geisel, born on March 2, 1904.

Read Across America, which has become the nation’s largest reading celebration with more than 45 million participating annually, highlights the importance of developing a love for reading at an early age. TLS
