in what part of downtown lakewood is parking prohibited? as you note, i am a newcomer
I work in the downtown area. I used to repeatedly park on the corner of Second St and Lexington Ave and received one of these notices. Started parking where the lots are designated municipal parking lots. Haven’t received one yet

Parking is not prohibited, there are time limits
$20 tickets. That’s ok. Thanks for not strapping people with senseless $75-$150 tickets for doing next to nothing.
You can park anywhere but signs say for how long. If you overstay you can get cited.
