PHOTO: MUA’s Water Flushing gets Underway; You may Experience Brown Water, Low Water Pressure

mua water flushing 2015The Municipal Utilities Authority’s annual water flushing has begun. The flushing will continue through the end of May.

During this flushing process, customers may experience some discoloration of their water. Should this occur, users should run their cold water later in the day until it clears.

You may also notice a temporary decrease in water pressure during this period.

If you are planning to replace your water filter, ‎you should wait until after the flushing has been completed.

My water has been brown for a week already. How much water do you expect me to run? It doesnt work and do we get water credit for all the running?
