STEPS (Solutions to End Poverty Soon) and the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) in partnership with the LRRC (Lakewood Resource and Referral Center) held a Working Together information session this evening to discuss questions about the affordable housing process. The event took place at the Lakewood Municipal Auditorium.
Representatives from Fair Share Housing, housing developers, and housing industry experts, among others were present.
STEPS Executive Director Michael McNeil, who also is the Housing Chair of the New Jersey State Conference NAACP, said, “This session is designed to dispel myths and rumors, and to establish the facts about the affordable housing process so we can all work together.”
