image1This little bunny, with a name tag, was found late Saturday night while a resident was out for a walk on Glen Avenue.

The finder intends to bring it to a local zoo if it isn’t claimed.

  1. The owner would likely call the nearest shelter so make sure the Northern Ocean County Animal Shekter in Jackson knows who has him. Also, if no one claims him, Rob at Schuster’s farm has bunnies and would probably take him in as well if the zoos are full.

  2. An update on found bunny. I named her snowball and took her to little furries rescue in Browns mills. They will have it checked by a veterinarian and put it up for adoption.
    Please, please remember domestic animals are pets and meant to be kept as such. I was told by one neighbor that the people who had it “let it free”. This rabbit would have died out in the cold on its own, it was not meant to be an outdoor pet. Do not take in a pet unless your able to care for it responsibly
