PHOTO: Former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey was seen in Lakewood today together with Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop.
The pair were spotted this afternoon on Clifton Avenue, and in a local bagel store. The former Governor, who served as New Jersey’s 52nd Governor until his resignation in 2004, was wearing a Yarmuka.
After leaving the bagel store and being recognized by several people, McGreevey quickly found himself at the center of a photo shoot.
TLS reached out to the Jersey City Mayor’s office for information about the pair’s visit, but no information was immediately available.

Maybe they wanted to see how a well run, efficient school system is operated.
In support of Shloime Langert, no doubt.
I cant beleive McGreevy isny embarrassed to be seen in public after his, um, resignation.
What is wrong with this picture? The Galach is wearing a Yarmulka and the Yid isn’t?
He has done allot for troubled youth with mentoring and prison counseling . I applaud his work… and moving on with be so positive with his life…he has helped allot of people
With a yarmulke on his head, you can be sure he must be considering a run at some type of office.
What a great state we live in.
We are told that next week Senator Booker will be in Lakewood. He may be coming to officiate McGreevy’s marriage…
What has this world come to?
I would think he would actually be better served to walk around with a paper bag over his head, but I guess in NJ you can do what he did and be proud of it.
