Whether it’s online or offline, anti-Lakewood and anti-Semitic hate messages continue to come out of Toms River.
Yesterday, a Jewish couple taking a stroll in a Toms River park came across an anti-Semitic message etched into a bench.
“Jew, go back to Lakewood,” the message read.
The message come just weeks after a “burn the Jews” message was found etched into a playground.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office says this is a despicable crime, and they will go after these violators.
“Defacing property with messages of hate is a cowardly despicable crime,” Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Spokesman Al Della Fave tells TLS. “We will make every effort to identify these individuals and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.”

This is incited by the MAYOR of Toms River
So what. It’s just teenagers acting like teenagers.
Thank you to the mayor who will not apologize for his “INVASION” remarks. It sets a precedent that such remarks can be tolerated.
I live in toms river. All I ask if you use our parks please clean up the litter you leave behind please and thank you
Cut it off at the top- that is starting from the mayor of Toms River. His inflammatory remarks are directly responsible for acts such as these.
There are plenty of antisemetic incidents in Lakewood too. Let’s not act like it’s only coming from Toms River. And the Mayor isn’t responsible for the foolish actions of a lone actor.
to number 4, “your parks”?!? you own the parks?! they are public, for anyone and everyone to use. Thank you.
