We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Hagaon Rav Shlomo Goldman Zatzal, the Tzanz-Zhviller Rebbe, of Union City, who was Niftar today following an illness, the YWN reports.

The Rebbe Zatzal, approximately 70 years old, was born in Yerushalayim, and was the son of the previous Zhviller Rebbe, Hagaon Rav Mordchai Goldman.

The Rebbe led the community in Union City, NJ, founded by his father-in-law in 1968.

The Rebbe Zatzal would visit Lakewood each year ahead of Rosh Hashana to meet with Chassidim.

The Levaya is taking place in Union City, and on Sunday in Eretz Yisroel. Kevurah will be on Har Hazeisim.
