We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Reb Mordechai Neustadt Z”L, who was Niftar today in Lakewood.
Reb Mordechai Z”L, originally from Brooklyn, is the father of Reb Daniel, the Rav at Pine River Village. He was approximately 90 years old.
The Levaya will take place 4:45 PM at the Pine River Village Shul, and the Kevura in Eretz Yisroel.

He was moser nefesh for Russian Jewry as head of Vaad L’Hatzolas Nidchei Yisroel. May the z’chusim from the thousands of neshomos he helped saved, be a melitz yosher for him. Often was seen (as recently as erev pesach) shopping for groceries with his aishes chayil.

He had such hadras panim and did so much for the Klal. He was so energetic, I would have never guessed his age. May hashem send his wife and the whole family a nechama. Hamakom yenachem eschem bsoch shar aveilei tziyon. I was personally very inspired by this amazing couple who undertook so very much!
