BDE!!!! he was the biggest talmid chacham i’ve met in my lifetime, yet also the biggest anav i’ve met in my lifetime! the epitome of Tocho K’baro!! a true loss to Klal yisroel and lakewood 🙁 Yehi Zichro Baruch. He should be melitz yosher for all of us!!
He had such a beautiful voice and he always davened with such feeling… Wherever he davened and whenever he davened -and I heard him a lot especially when I used to lived near Kol Shimshon- it was always magnificent, from a Yom Kippur Kotton to the first night Slichos to his davening on the Yomin Tovim and if I remember also the Hoshanos on Hoshana Rabba.. always with heart and always with ‘hergesh’. The loss of this true giant is beyond comprehension….
excellent bal koreh as well
Baruch Dayan Haemes. Shocking news. A tzaddik and talmid chacham. May his chashuve Rebetzin (a tzadeikes in her own right) and mishpacha have a nechama.
