We regret to inform you of the petirah of R’ Eliezer Avraham Pflaster, a resident of Jackson. R’ Pflaster and his wife moved from Los Angeles in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, settling in the Majestic Woods area of Jackson, where they could be closer to their children and grandchildren.
R’ Pflaster was recently admitted for an outpatient procedure when his medical condition suddenly deteriorated. He was sadly niftar on Tuesday. He was in his mid-60s. His petirah has sent shockwaves through the Los Angeles and Lakewood/Jackson communities, where he was well known as a loving, jovial, and highly knowledgeable talmid chochom.
The levaya will take place Tuesday night at 11:30 pm at the 7th Street Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue, with kevurah following in the Lakewood Bais Olam.
R’ Pflaster is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren. Yehi zichro baruch.
BDE What a special person. Always had a joke to make people feel good. Was able to connect to so many people, each in their own way. A tremendous machshiv torah who together with his wife were zoche to build a very choshuva family. He should be a mailitz yosher for his wife, family and all of klal yisrael.
We are shocked and terribly saddened by this tragedy. Amazing family! Any info on an email of phone to be menachem avel?
