We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Mrs. Shifra Roman A”H, Rebbetzin Gissinger’s older sister.

The Levayah is scheduled to take place 12:30 PM Monday at the 7th Street Chapel, 613 Ramsey Ave.

Rebetzin Gissinger will be sitting Shiva at her home, 170 Sunset Rd. Monday 4-7pm, Tues thru Thurs 2-6pm, and Fri 1-3pm.

    Yes Rabbi Roman zt”l was her husband. I believe he was a talmid of Lakewood.

    Before I moved out of Brooklyn 11 years ago I was their neighbor on East 34th st bet N and P.

    Very nice people. Sorry to hear this news.

  3. An eishes chayil who lived only to support her husband in disseminating Torah and to teach whoever wanted to learn. How many wives would joyfully go to live in the ‘wilds’ of Edmonton far from her family so that they can give over Torah! She truly lived her life with the values of those from whom she and her husband had learned from.
